NMEI’s goal is to support New Mexico by facilitating access to federal and state grants through key services:
- Identifying Funding Opportunities: NMEI actively researches and identifies relevant federal and state grant opportunities, collaborates with state partners, and disseminates this information through various channels.
- Building Collaborative Teams: Leveraging our extensive network, NMEI connects organizations with experts across New Mexico to form teams with the necessary expertise and partnerships for successful grant applications.
- Grant Writing Assistance: NMEI links applicants with grant writing professionals and provides guidance to navigate administrative challenges, improving the quality and competitiveness of proposals.
- Annual Convening: To track progress and foster collaboration, NMEI will host an annual meeting to share updates, successes, and best practices.
